We are a multi-disciplinary group of professionals that form part of a company dedicated to give customized solutions in the whole world in the automation of confectionery equipment. We take projects entirely, from the idea, the space availability, basic and detail engineering in the mechanical area, automatic control, electrical area, productive process, installation, start up and training.
We are focused in high flexibility molding equipment and automatic panning equipment for hard, soft, and chocolate panning.
GR Ingeniería ltda. started in March 2002, to attend the growing international needs in the confectionery automation market. Starting was a personal challenge for the founder, Rolando Jeanneret Brogle, who got more than 25 years of experience working for one of the most important chocolate and confectionery companies of the country, and experienced the lack of the possibility to buy high productivity equipment at affordable prices.
The company started to sale its own-built machinery mainly in Latin America, focusing in the automatic coating and molding markets.
In year 2006 GR CONFECTIONERY MACHINERY transformed into a Corporation and Dave Homeyer, United States of America businessman with great experience in machinery manufacture in the food area, got into the Corporation, giving great value to the Company in terms of quality and international projection.
In March 2006, the founder and CEO of the company passes away. Although losing him was hard for the company, thanks to his great vision and support of the united formed working team, the company kept growing. The development has been constant in terms of quality, technology and offer, and this is why today the company has equipment of the highest level installed in the 5 continents.
Our team has both the experience of working in confectionery companies, in manufacture, installation and maintenance of lines, and a focus in developing new technologies and solutions. The professionalism and effectiveness of our collaborators allow us to work in multiple projects at the same time, with constant interaction and feedback. GR has a nice working environment, being a company’s policy the health and wellness of every worker of this Company. This happens because we are really passionate for what we do.

We count with a large 1250 m2 workshop located in the beautiful city of Viña del Mar in Chile. We are located 90 minutes away from Santiago’s International Airport, Arturo Merino Benitez (SCL). In our installations we have the necessary machinery and tools for the manufacture of our equipment.
Also, GR has large offices so we can receive our clients. This includes a meeting room and a Laboratory to make tests in a smaller scale. This laboratory consists in a variety of machinery so that practical and scalable tests on the desired products can be performed.

The Company’s Policy is to be able to give a complete solution with a totally centralized control of the process. In GR we make the designs, fabrication, quality control, final assembly and productive tests. Counting with every process stage in one place, meaning that the design is made in the same place that the fabrication, allows us to have a very effective feedback and quality control, being this very beneficial to both the customer and our internal cycle of continuous improvement.
