Each equipment is custom designed, considering a basic structure and adding the different adjuncts required so that the final product can be achieved the best way.
This equipment employs a drum fabricated with perforated plates, with 4 mm diameter holes. The particularity of this equipment is that it allows process air to flow through the product, increasing the transfer area and achieving a faster drying.
The Drum is located over a platform, to allow the placement of the centralized discharge system under the equipment.

GR INGENIERÍA prefers to supply a complete equipment, totally autonomous, that is able to control every variable. Anyway, the feasibility of using existent air systems will be analyzed.

Our equipment is able to perform Hard Panning (with sugar syrup or sugar free products), Soft Panning (powder sugar or compatible) or Chocolate Panning, and it can perform thickening, smoothing, polishing, shining and sealing processes.
The equipment from GR CONFECTIONERY MACHINERY is totally autonomous: it can work in any ambient because it counts with its own air system. It’s always good to allocate a sector of the plant with controlled atmosphere, especially for chocolate.
1. RECIPES. The APS uses a recipe that is set on a PLC, which repeats the panning formula and decreases the raw materials losses.
2. PRODUCTIVITY. The productivity, measured in Kg/m², is bigger.
3. CONTACT AREA. The product’s area exposed to dosing and air is bigger, achieving better dosing and better product drying.
4. BETTER ENERGY EFFICIENCY. By having an air system that recirculates from the air system to the Drum, the electric energy used to dehumidify the air is harnessed and not lost.
5. QUALIFIED MANPOWER. A machine is in charge of the production and does not depend on the will or disposition of the technical staff.
6. MANPOWER OPTIMIZATION. One person can control multiple APS.
7. AIR SYSTEM. By having an autonomous air system, the production is independent of the ambient. Besides, the air system generates the amount of air that the product requires, at temperature and relative humidity conditions.
8. RENTABILITY. As the company has a stable and permanent production, a quick return of the investment is achieved.
